Description
The “My senses theme” was designed to teach the students that we use our senses to connect with the world. Our senses play a very big role in our everyday life as we need them to become aware of our environment as well as interaction with others.
Day 1: Touch
Day 2: Smell
Day 3: Sight
Day 4: Hearing
Day 5: Taste
Day 6: Hands
Day 7: Nose
Day 8: Eyes
Day 9: Ears
Day 10: Tongue
Each day is planned with an introduction lesson which starts with the story of the day (showed in the booklist for the theme) and followed by the morning ring. Then it progress into the creative activity for the day and ends with the second ring of the day. Each of these have their activity to complete; either math, literacy, fine motor or art.
In the lesson plan you will have pictures to assist you in setting up your theme table, playdough tray, sensory bin and light table.
We do the planning, while you do the playing!
