The “On the farm theme” will help students to discover that our food comes from farms which is a piece of land that grows crops and raise animals for produce. The people who grow this produce are called farmers.

Day 1: On the farm

Day 2: Farm life

Day 3: Chicken

Day 4: Pig

Day 5: Cow

Day 6: Sheep

Day 7: Duck

Day 8: Horse

Day 9: Farming

Day 10: Harvesting

Each day is planned with an introduction lesson which starts with the story of the day (showed in the booklist for the theme) and followed by the morning ring. Then it progress into the creative activity for the day and ends with the second ring of the day. Each of these have their activity to complete; either math, literacy, fine motor or art.

In the lesson plan you will have pictures to assist you in setting up your theme table, playdough tray, sensory bin and light table.

We do the planning, while you do the playing!
