Description
The “Birds theme” will help students to learn that birds are vertebrate animals that have feathers, wings and beaks. Most birds fly, some swim and some birds are flightless like the ostrich.
Day 1: Birds
Day 2: Nest and eggs
Day 3: Garden birds
Day 4: Turkey
Day 5: Ostrich
Day 6: Owl
Day 7: Seagull
Day 8: Flamingo
Day 9: Penguin
Day 10: Eagle
Each day is planned with an introduction lesson which starts with the story of the day (showed in the booklist for the theme) and followed by the morning ring. Then it progress into the creative activity for the day and ends with the second ring of the day. Each of these have their activity to complete; either math, literacy, fine motor or art.
In the lesson plan you will have pictures to assist you in setting up your theme table, playdough tray, sensory bin and light table.
