Description
The “Insects and crawlers theme” will help students discover the difference between insects and bugs that crawl around. They will also see the unique world of a bug’s life by studying their different ways of living and adaptations.
Day 1: Insects
Day 2: House fly
Day 3: Ant
Day 4: Bee
Day 5: Butterfly
Day 6: Earthworm
Day 7: Snail
Day 8: Spider
Day 9: Grasshopper
Day 10: Bug catcher
Each day is planned with an introduction lesson which starts with the story of the day (showed in the booklist for the theme) and followed by the morning ring. Then it progress into the creative activity for the day and ends with the second ring of the day. Each of these have their activity to complete; either math, literacy, fine motor or art.
In the lesson plan you will have pictures to assist you in setting up your theme table, playdough tray, sensory bin and light table.
