The “Wild animals theme” will help students to understand that wild animals are animals that can’t be kept as pets.  They are animals that live in the wild and hunts for their own food and water.

Day 1: Safari

Day 2: Lion

Day 3: Elephant

Day 4: Giraffe

Day 5: Zebra

Day 6: Rhinoceros

Day 7: Tiger

Day 8: Hippopotamus

Day 9: Monkey

Day 10: Zoo

Each day is planned with an introduction lesson which starts with the story of the day (showed in the booklist for the theme) and followed by the morning ring. Then it progress into the creative activity for the day and ends with the second ring of the day. Each of these have their activity to complete; either math, literacy, fine motor or art.

In the lesson plan you will have pictures to assist you in setting up your theme table, playdough tray, sensory bin and light table.

We do the planning, while you do the playing!
