The “Winter theme” will help students explore why this season is called the coldest season  with the iciest weather. They will see the effect that it has on nature and why some animals go into hiding during this season.

Day 1: Winter

Day 2: Clouds

Day 3: Rain

Day 4: Umbrella

Day 5: Puddles

Day 6: Animals

Day 7: Clothes

Day 8: Hot chocolate

Day 9: Food

Day 10: Snow

Each day is planned with an introduction lesson which starts with the story of the day (showed in the booklist for the theme) and followed by the morning ring. Then it progress into the creative activity for the day and ends with the second ring of the day. Each of these have their activity to complete; either math, literacy, fine motor or art.

In the lesson plan you will have pictures to assist you in setting up your theme table, playdough tray, sensory bin and light table.

We do the planning, while you do the playing!
