Water theme

Description

The “Water theme” will help students see how water moves around the Earth on a daily basis through the path known as the water cycle. They will also get to know the important role water plays in maintaining life.

Day 1: Importance of water

Day 2:  State of water

Day 3: Water cycle

Day 4: Evaporation

Day 5: Condensation

Day 6: Precipitation

Day 7: Transpiration

Day 8: Runoff

Day 9: Accumulation

Day 10: Uses of water

Each day is planned with an introduction lesson which starts with the story of the day (showed in the booklist for the theme) and followed by the morning ring. Then it progress into the creative activity for the day and ends with the second ring of the day. Each of these have their activity to complete; either math, literacy, fine motor or art.

In the lesson plan you will have pictures to assist you in setting up your theme table, playdough tray, sensory bin and light table.
